Ahi Sashimi (yellow fin tuna)

Seared Ahi with Asparagus tips
|
4 – 6 Cucumbers
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoons Taste of Hanalei Dipping and
Marinade Sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
Peel cucumbers and halve lengthwise.
Remove seeds and slice in ¼” half moons.
Toss cucumber slices in colander with salt
and let drain for about 15 minutes, to remove
excess water.
Combine next three ingredients, and mix
well. Pat cucumbers dry on paper towel and
toss with dressing. Chill for 15 or 20
minutes, mix well and serve immediately.
